MAL B GONE
The Ultimate Computer Virus and Malware Removal Guide:
Every piece of anti-Malware and anti-Virus software that we are promoting here is FREE. This means that anybody in the world can implement this Malware Prevention System, and then get the same results that we have gotten. The only thing it will cost you is your time. Warning: this Malware Removal software deletes junk from your computer. You take full responsibility for the use of this software. We are not responsible if you use this software and it deletes your porn collection, or bootleg computer games, or some such. The free stuff that people collect off the internet tends to be full of viruses, malware, trojans, and browser hijackers; consequently, the software we are promoting here will delete these kinds of things.
Some people have suggested that we should charge for this information. However, we were freely given and want to freely give. We believe that this is information that every person on the planet should have access to, for FREE.
When it comes to Computer Viruses and other Malware, it’s a never-ending fight! To win the battle against Computer Viruses and Malware requires constant vigilance. Some people are determined to dump garbage in your pool or rain on your parade no matter what you try to do to stop them. In this section of our Home Page, we will explain what we had to do in order to keep an internet-connected Windows XP machine alive for over a decade without having to do a clean install on it. It can be done, but you need the right tools for the job.
The software tools we are promoting here in this four-part series are all FREE. Our primary goal is to teach our clients and friends how to get the Malware off their computers and keep it off. Since what we are promoting is FREE, anyone can implement this system on their own machine; and, all it will cost them is the time it takes to learn how to use this free software.
Prevention is often more effective than getting the junk removed once it is on there; although they have gotten better at removing the cooties and gookies after-the-fact, as the years have gone by. Are you ready to learn how to zap malware and viruses before they figure out a way to take you out of play?
Anti-virus software is your first line of defense.
1) We recommend “Windows Defender” that comes for free with Windows 8.1. It’s the most unobtrusive and efficient Virus Checker that we have ever encountered, and it actually seems to work, because none of the other checkers that we use seem to be finding anything nowadays. You don’t have to do anything to acquire this, except purchase Windows 8.1. This thing is called “Microsoft Security Essentials” if you are needing it for Windows 7 or Windows Vista.
Note: Windows Security Essentials no longer supports Windows XP. Don’t surf the internet with Windows XP. You are simply asking for trouble if you do. Microsoft and most of the rest of us no longer support Windows XP. It’s time to move on.
2) If you really have to buy a Virus Checker because you hate Microsoft or some such, then we recommend Avast!
Avast will still work with Windows XP last time we checked. We still have a few clients that are using Avast Free on their Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 machines. Avast has a free version that we have used on a few of our machines in the past. Each year it seems to get a bit more bloated, but it’s still the one we prefer.
3) Most of the other Virus Checkers have actually become viruses and act like viruses and browser hijackers, and once you get them in there, it’s practically impossible to get rid of them. They are just in there sucking CPU cycles slowing everything down, even after you have tried to uninstall them.
Furthermore, you only want one Virus Checker installed, because they will do war with each other if you unwittingly install more than one of them. These things are for sale at some of our affiliates, but I’m not even going to provide a link, because I still have my integrity. Use Microsoft’s free Virus Checker, or get the Avast free version. Install it, learn how to use it, and reap the rewards.
4) If you suspect that you have something really nasty hiding on your computer, then download and run Microsoft’s Malicious Software Removal Tool. This program was designed to get the worst Malware off your computer and then return your computer to normal.
I DID NOT CREATE ANY OF THESE MALWARE REMOVAL TOOLS. INSTEAD, I SIMPLY LEARNED HOW TO USE THEM, AND GOT INTO THE HABIT OF USING THEM REGULARLY.
